On the Guiding Light soap show, she appeared as Marina Cooper. This role earned her an award nomination from Soap Opera Digest in 2003 as Outstanding newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas in the ABC show Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar was a part of the 2012 NBC Pilot Happy Valley which was not picked up.
