Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first five minutes. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd won her next match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision, and her Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
