Nadia Elena Comaneci

The 1976 Montreal Olympic Games was the time when she broke the record by becoming the first person who scored a perfect 10 in asymmetric bars. Additionally, she also scored six perfect 10s and made her 14 years of old the youngest Olympic medallist in every category. The accomplishments of Nadia Comaneci have not just drawn attention in all directions but also helped Romania in gaining a place on the map of international recognition. With a score that was not possible the sport's icon helped bring gymnastics into the spotlight of global interest. The perception of women athletes also changed due to her performance. This was due to her impact in the Olympics in the same way that both move toe-on (toes on) and release are named for her. These two moves have been regarded, to this day, as challenging. Other than the Olympics, her performance was outstanding at both World Championships (World Championships) and European Championships. Thus, she became one of the most popular and well-known gymnasts. Also, she modelled and promoted sports gear after making the move into the US. Nadia Nadia Nadia Nadia 2 Nadia
